With over a decade in mobile engineering, I’ve grown from shipping my first iOS app to leading teams that build products used by hundreds of thousands of people. I’m Janarthanan Kannan — a Tech Lead & Mobile Engineer who believes great apps are built at the intersection of clean code, smart architecture, and a relentless focus on user experience.
I’ve designed, built, and shipped 25+ iOS and Android applications across fintech, e-commerce, automotive, and lifestyle — collectively earning 100K+ downloads and multiple App Store features. My craft spans Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Kotlin, grounded in scalable architecture patterns like MVC and MVVM, with a constant eye on performance and long-term maintainability.
As a tech lead, I do more than write code — I align technical decisions with business goals, mentor engineers, and drive Agile delivery across cross-functional teams. I take as much pride in building strong teams as I do in building great products.
Outside of work, I’m exploring emerging mobile technologies, contributing to side projects, and mentoring the next generation of mobile developers — because the best ideas often surface when curiosity leads the way.
